Job Description – Sr. Account Executive (Full Time)

 

 

We have an immediate opportunity for a fulltime Sr. Account Executive on our Sales team at our Vancouver office. Our ideal candidate has 5-7 years of proven experience.

Strada Networks is a Value Added Reseller in the data networking industry. We are a young and dynamic company with our office in Vancouver. The Role

Our growing business is looking for a Sr. Account Executive to increase sales in the Greater Vancouver area. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Account Executive will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. You will also work together with marketing, so they can enhance the supporting materials you need to close sales.

 

Some of the things you will work on:

  • Be focused on selling new accounts

  • Prospect, set meetings, control own schedule, and exceed customer expectations

  • Listen to customer needs to create customized solutions

  • Follow up and follow through with all existing customers and prospects

  • Maintain territory plan and activities to achieve assigned revenue goals

  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts

  • Build local partnerships by attending networking events

  • Customer analysis through the Strada Roadmap to Success

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments

  • Participate in provided basic IT training

 

 

Must have skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business is preferred

  • 5 - 7 Years (outside) sales experience

  • Proven experience in cold calling via phone

  • Confidence and experience in presenting proposals and closing deals

  • You must be authorized to work in Canada

  • Must have good documentation and English skills, French is an asset

  • Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license

  • Ability to sell strategies at CIO, VP, and IS Director level

  • Ability to penetrate and sign large major clients with consultative selling
