We have an immediate opportunity for a fulltime Office Administrator on our team at our Vancouver office. Our ideal candidate has 2-3 years of proven experience.

The Role

As a growing company, we are looking for an Office Administrator who can help us create a more productive work environment while ensuring that our clients get the support they need. We see this as a key position on our team and as the captain of the office. The ideal candidate for this position is an organized, detail-oriented individual who is able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment. Some of the things you will work on:

  • Responsible for timely account payables and receivables. Follow up with receivables to ensure money comes in on expected dates.

  • Support Marketing with the creation of marketing materials and programs

  • Maintain the stock levels for office and break room supplies and submit purchase requests to management when necessary

  • Coordinate and plan company social events that take place during and after business hours

  • Answer phones and greet and direct visitors appropriately

  • Day to day bookkeeping tasks

  • Proactively look for ways to improve the office and our business processes

 

 

Must have skills:

  • Associate Degree in Business or a related field required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

  • 2+ years’ experience in office administration

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong sense of discretion and professionalism

  • You must be authorized to work in Canada

  • Must have good documentation and English skills, French is an asset

  • Accounts Payable/Receivable experience preferred
